Equitree Capital app account and associated app data

Request account deletion

Equitree Capital app users can request deletion of their app account at any time. Because we are a SEBI-registered Portfolio Manager, we delete the app account once you have fully redeemed and your PMS account is closed. If you still hold investments, we record your request and keep your account active until then. A partial redemption does not affect your account. After closure we delete or de-identify your app data (profile, contact details, device and notification records). We retain portfolio, transaction, consent, security, audit and grievance records, and Bodhi AI chat records for 8 years, for the period required by law and SEBI. Deleting your app account does not itself close your PMS account.

Request from the app

1. Sign in to Equitree Capital.
2. Open More, then Profile.
3. Select Delete account and confirm the request.

Request without the app

Email us from the address registered with your Equitree PMS account. Use the subject “Equitree Capital app account deletion request” and include your name. Do not include your PAN, password, OTP, bank information or portfolio details in the email.

What happens next

• We verify the request against your registered contact details before making any change.
• We aim to respond to your request within 30 days of receiving it. We will contact you if we need more information to verify it.
• If your account was never funded, we delete it after verifying your identity.

What we delete after closure

• Your app profile and contact details held for the app.
• Device records, including trusted-device tokens and push-notification tokens, and your notification preferences.
• Other app-only data, deleted or anonymised once it is no longer required.

What we retain

• Transaction, portfolio, consent, regulatory, grievance and audit records, for the period required by SEBI and other applicable law, an investigation or the PMS client agreement.
• Bodhi AI chat transcripts, for 8 years as part of our records, after which they are deleted.
• ICT and security logs, including login and access logs, for the period required by CERT-In directions where applicable.
• We use retained records only for those purposes, not to restore your app access.
